Today, however, it’s from Toms Shoes, who not only make shoes so ugly my ex-wife’s Chihuahua wouldn’t even eat them, but who also clearly figure that they don’t have anything to lose by donating a cool $5Mil to anti-gun organizations. They may be right, but that doesn’t mean you can’t spit in their eye anyway. How? Adams Arms‘ new #MagsForToms campaign.
The campaign was originally conceived as a Yeti-style auto-da-fé, complete with turning the turned-in Toms into heat and light. “Originally we were going to burn the shoes, but decided that’s no way to treat something that could be used again by homeless veterans,” VP of Sales & Marketing, Jens Krogh, said.
“But then we thought to ourselves… we should at least make the shoes less hippie. So we’re going to alter them with a pro Second Amendment message and THEN donate them to several worthy causes for veterans and impoverished people living in oppressive countries where they do not have the freedoms we cherish.”
The concept is simple: Send in your Toms shoes to Adams Arms, and in return they’ll send you a free 30-round magazine (unless you live in a restricted state, in which case it’ll have to be a 10-rounder). Amend2 Magazines, a high-quality magazine and accessory company based in Idaho, loved the idea so much that they partnered with Adams Arms to support the cause and donated the first batch of #MagsForToms. For every pair of Toms Shoes sent in, one Amend2 30-round (or 10-round) magazine will be sent to your door!

77 years have gone by
I remember.

I do not live in a flyover state, but rather on a coast where my vote rarely counts, I have never failed to cast my ballot even when anti-American liberals and radical leftists surround me and the socialist tide rises all around.
I am surrounded by anti gun, left-wing, liberal, progressive, politically correct, entitled, elitist, snowflake numbskulls who support these very anti-gun, anti-freedom, anti-American activities like this misbegotten stupidity by toms shoes.
It is their right to do so.
It is OUR right to show them their errors in judgement through legal protest. Financial protest through boycott is a language that may help the meaning of OUR message of freedom become clear. I applaud the effort of Adams Arms and others to bring the message home to these jerks.
I have never bought any of toms shoes.
I struggle to find MADE IN AMERICA shoes because that is all I will wear or I’d go barefoot.
I have no tomshoes to donate, but I will buy an extra pair of shoes with the next pair I buy for myself. I will give those new shoes (along with the old one that I always donate) to a local Veterans outreach program.

What we need is a LIST of the corporations that are supporting the anti gun agenda to be published as a side note on all the pro gun sites, ads and posts. If we want the gun communities’ buying power to be felt, a “Black List” of anti gun corporations needs to be disseminated as far and wide as can be done. I refuse to go into Dick’s, refuse to buy Tom & Jerries’ Ice cream

Good for Adams Arms! There are millions and millions of men and women in the United States of America who hunt, fish and enjoy the shooting sports. It’s about time that we all not only flex our political power at the voting polls, but also flex our monetary strength to fight back against ill-advised corporations who have somehow forgotten the hard working, ethical, and moral Americans who serve or who have served in our military, as first responders, as volunteers who in so many way help their neighbors, friends, and countrymen and women. By continuing to speak out, by using our financial strength, and by strongly supporting real American leaders (not the Democrats and RINOs we currently have to deal with), we can turn this Ship of State around. Don’t patronize companies, actors and actresses, entertainers (including the trained performers in the NFL) who are totally opposed to our basic American values. All of us in the “flyover” portion of this great Country, and the proud Americans who must live in the left wing controlled occupied areas of the East and West coasts, must continue to be strong and fight the progressives and anti-Americans elitists who we have to continue to suffer with.
Liberal gun grabbers. First person that they will call in a situation is a guy with a gun. Stop being a sheep being led to the slaughter house. Love the idea of taking these in as a buyback and helping out our veterans.

I really hope shooters and all sportspeople get behind programs like this…..most people have forgotten how much influence their money spending decisions have. The only difference between being a country that sends shoes to 3rd world countries and being one that receives them is our rights and freedoms, as well as the women and men that defend them, our military……rsbhunter
Wow, this really sucks. When Dick’s did their dirty deeds I was so pissed at them I changed my name from Dick to Tom. I thought that it would be a good solid name because all the Toms I knew were good, steady patriotic guys. Now Toms shoes ( who knew they even existed) is trying to steal our rights. Now I gotta change my name……AGAIN! This is getting expensive, besides the lawyers, changing my accounts, social security info, etc. is really a pain in the butt. I think I figured out a name that will last for a good while, this time. I will call myself a name poular in the middle of the last century….. when I was born. I will henceforth be known as……..Chick! I knew quite a few good guys named Chick. Hardcore rock and rollers from the 50’s that grew up with me on the streets of Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens. And besides I don’t have to worry about Chick Filet turning commie on me and forcing me to change my name…….AGAIN!
