Mike Bloomberg Messes With Texas
Of all the great ideas Bloomie’s ever had, messing with Texas is right up there with banning soda pop.
The depth of Mike Bloomberg‘s pockets is matched only by his desire to control every single aspect of American life: how many ounces of soda we can buy at a time, where people of color are allowed to walk around unmolested, and, of course, whether or not we’re allowed to own a firearm. Although all presidential candidates have egos the size of their home districts, Bloomie’s is apparently measured in light-years instead of square miles. His latest example of overweening pride? Trying to buy the Second Amendment out from under Texas…of all places. We have the below reporting courtesy of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms:
Anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg is continuing what appears to be an attempted “leveraged buyout” of the Second Amendment as Everytown for Gun Safety—the group he co-founded and bankrolled—has pledged to spend $8 million in Texas; just part of the $60 million that group has vowed to spend in order to elect anti-rights politicians this fall.
That’s the observation from the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Former New York City Mayor Bloomberg, seeking to buy his way into the White House by running for president as a Democrat, has weaponized his vast wealth to buy an election. But CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb is reminding Bloomberg that the U.S. Constitution is not for sale.
“Michael Bloomberg is spending a fortune on his Johnny-come-lately presidential campaign,” Gottlieb said, “but the one prize he really seems to want—a chance to turn America into his kingdom—will prove to be beyond even his financial reach. He’s tried to tell us what to eat, he’s tried to tell us how much soda we can drink and he has been unrelenting in his crusade to erase the Second Amendment from the Bill of Rights.
“But Bloomberg can’t buy American liberty,” he continued, “because Americans aren’t willing to sell. He has amassed great wealth, but that doesn’t give him the right to say nobody else has any rights. And we’re certain that the more Bloomberg talks and the more he spends, the more people will realize this man should not be trusted with the future of the United States.
“The Everytown Action Fund pledge to spend ‘at least’ $60 million to elect gun prohibitionists to public office at all levels should alarm, if not terrify, every American voter,” Gottlieb added. “This is the United States of America, not the United Kingdom of Bloomberg, and we should be wary of anybody willing to spend so much money in an effort to put people in office at all levels of government who are politically indebted to a single wealthy demagogue.
“If Mike Bloomberg thinks he sees a pricetag on America,” Gottlieb concluded, “he shouldn’t run for election, he should run to the nearest doctor for an eye exam, because he’s seeing something that isn’t there.”

One of the biggest problems we face as a nation is the loss our our freedoms. Individual freedom is what made the U.S.A. different from every other nation, and is why the U.S. became the most powerful and prosperous country on the planet. We have people like Soros and Bloomberg, who, for reasons I don’t understand, think that the common folks don’t deserve those freedoms.
The other face of this problem is our ‘education’ system, which has become largely a leftist indoctrination system. Since the 1960’s, in little steps, the leftists have taken control of our education system. That is the main reason that the U.S. education system is now rated 36th internationally. The vast majority of college administrators, professors, people who write text books and teacher are leftists. Just look at which political party the teachers unions donate to and it is over 90% to the Democrat party. The students from kindergarten through post-grad school are taught that socialism is the best form of government. They are taught that Hitler and the NAZI’s were evil. They are NOT taught that Hitler was the leader of the German socialist party or that NAZI is short for The German National Socialist Workers’ Party. There is more focus on propagandizing the students and less on educating them than ever before. Thus, if the students believe what they are taught we will lose our rights because with a couple million new socialists generated by our ‘education’ system annually, they will soon be the majority. And socialism inevitably evolves to totalitarian government and thus individual freedoms will be lost.
The Democrats can legislate our 2nd Amendment rights away but how many Americans will willingly give up their guns? Many will choose to become “criminals”. There are enough Americans left that know of the horrors of Nazi Germany and how Hitler said in 1938, “The easiest way to conquer a nation is to first disarm its citizens”. This is exactly what we’re looking at today. We should be frightened by Bloomberg and the rest of the Democratic Socialists with what they’re trying to do. If these scumbags get enough political power to start enacting their manifestos I see an outright civil war breaking out as, I for one, will give up my gun only when they pry it from my cold dead fingers. Giving up our 2nd Amendment rights will be TEOTWAWKI. Freedom isn’t free and it’s worth dying for. This is what it all comes down to.
Martin – apparently little nanny warbucks has not realized what the non-compliance rate for draconian “gun control” is in noo yawk and konnectedkut are. Last data I saw was something on the order of under five percent. And neither of those states is noted as ever being pro-gun.
In my area we are getting bombarded with his campaign propaganda er um ads……………………..some of which are down right lies, the others are – at best – manipulating facts. Oh well, at least he is keeping advertisers employed.
I truly believe that most that quote Heston’s famous remark are full of shit. Talk is cheap. The ones doing all the talk will be the first targets. It will be impossible to disarm every legal law abiding patriot in this country so they will make examples of loud mouths in hopes of scaring others into compliance. The key will be in surprise and preparation. Inflict mortal damage each and every time the treasonous bastards attempt to force their will on “we the people.” Soon the cowards that they really are will show their true colors, and they will lose their stomach for violating our precious rights.

I know simple solutions to problems are always scoffed and demeaned. We should have a cap placed on how much any candidate can spend in any election. This would go a long way in leveling the playing field as pissing off those that feel they can buy the office. If you agree pass it along. Gary
I agree ☝️!!! There should be a cap on all citizens running for any office. That way the Bloombergs and Soros would not be able to buy a political candidate.
Unfortunately, from what I’ve heard and read, Mr. Eastwood has come out in support of Bloomberg.
In addition, each party should have an “Interview Committee” that candidates petition to. That committee decides who their party candidate is. Then the public debates can begin between parties and all the commercializing done with the cap you suggest. Neither party has to air their dirty laundry during internal debates.

It appears Bloombutt is also trying to remove the 2nd amendment from Arizona. My faith in the Supreme Court to knock down any gun bans that get enacted is zero. Where does that leave us law abiding citizens? Is our only recourse in the 2nd amendment its self? Bloomberg and those like him are the domestic enemy. We may have to treat them as such whether it’s Texas, Arizona, Virginia or any other state that had their 2nd amendment rights trampled.
Bloomingidiot is the reason the Second Amendment was written into the Constitution. Our Founders realized that egotistical maniacs would come along and try to take over America. Time to break out the pitchforks (AR-15/AK-47, etc.) is approaching?

I live in Oregon, and he purchased our legislature. They dems have a super majority now. They rubber stamp every dumb idea Bloomberg sends them. To make sure voters cant undo his handy work, they put an emergency clause on his Bill’s. The emergency clause was to be used in case of a natural disaster or war. Now it’s used to silence the voters. Right now they are working to make you lockup every firearm you own. Even your carry gun must have a trigger lock or breach lock, thats while your carrying it. If someone steals your firearms your in trouble, they commit a crime with your stolen property, you go to jail. Welcome to my nightmare. Nobody is talking about help Oregon gun owners, its all about Virginia.
This is why the rural part of Oregon wants to succeed to Idaho and Virginia is being asked to join West (By God) Virginia to escape Bloomberg’s takeover. Mississippi has a HB 753 to declare itself and 8 other southern states in becoming 2A Sanctuary States to head this clown off at the pass.
How can a very rich man, a Billionaire cry that Guns are bad for the common citizen to own? But have armed men around him, 24/7. What type of license or permit do they have? Not one available to us I would bet.
He bought the last Virginia election. The state Senate voted against some of his and Moms Against Apple Pie laws on Black Rifles but will take up next year. The only reason it happened was the thousands who showed up in Richmond to protest even some Democrats voted against the bill and the fact that a lot of counties in western Virginia were going to succeed from the state and go to West Virginia.
Make no mistake about it. ALL the current Dem candidates have the same position on guns and the 2nd Amendment. Some like Bloomberg and Klobuchar publish their plans in the open. Other experienced pure politicians keep their plans to themselves or at least low-key them. Sanders, for example. And all want the same socialist government, too, so after they take our guns, they’ll come back for the rest of what we have earned and give it part to “the poor” but mostly to themselves.

Bodyguards can’t stop bullets. Their primary function is to prevent kidnapping and ransom. Hence, protecting the fortune more than the individual.
Michael Bloomberg is what happens to a person when money goes to your head. He’s a lot like George Soros. We don’t need either one trying to dictate what America needs becsuse their eyesight is corrupt. I’m a Texan and my advice to him and to socialist in general is, “Don’t Mess with Texas!” We love our freedom, our guns, our bibles, our babies, our diversities of people, our laws and our God-given right to choose! So stay out of Texas’ business and by the way, stay out of America politics, Bloomberg. We don’t want you!
