Monday, Monday, Monday! The SHOWDOWN between the world’s best rimfire rifles begins …

The Ruger 10/22 is an absolutely iconic piece of American firepower, and what contender could possibly make a run at the 10/22’s throne? That would be the Magnum Research MLR 22, which is Kahr Arms Group’s definitive survival and plinking rifle. In this awesome video from The Firearm Guy (whom you should like and subscribe to), you’ll see why the MLR 22 suplexes other rimfire shooters. If you’d like an MLR 22 of your own (and of course you do), there are two ways to get one. First, you can visit the Magnum Research site and find a dealer (the rifles retail for anywhere from $691-$850, depending upon model chosen).

Or you can win one for free with our…

Yes, it’s a very nice gun but I didn’t see a comparison. If reliability, accuracy, and price are compared which would be the winner? This is like comparing a Colt Gold Cup National Match vs a basic Springfield 1911. The NRL uses some Ruger parts and some copied Ruger parts.

Didn’t see him use a 10/22. I thought this was supposed to be a comparison. For that price it had better be way better than an almost 60 year old time proven and in my opinion way better looking design.

For that price I can buy 2, maybe three 10/22s.

Well the price will be a killer if you ask me and the 10/22 will still outdo the NLR if you ask me. Im a Ruger man and will always be.

Ruger 10/22 is an icon in the 22 ramirez world, long ruling in its price range. However the Magnum Research Lite is quite a contender to the throne! I need one!
