Hornady Stands Up to State of New York By Stopping Ammo Sales to NY State Agencies

Ammunition manufacturer Hornady has made a strong stand against the State of New York’s efforts to try to stop banks in the state from lending to businesses in the firearms industry.
Steve Hornady, president of Hornady Manufacturing Company had this to say –
Today, the State of New York did one of the most despicable acts ever perpetrated by any state by asking New York banks, financial institutions and insurance companies to stop doing business with the gun and ammo industry.
While it may not make a difference to New York, Hornady will not knowingly allow our ammunition to be sold to the Government of the State of NY or any NY agencies. Their actions are a blatant and disgusting abuse of office and we won’t be associated with a government that acts like that. They should be ashamed.

I think ALL gun and ammo manufacturers should refuse to sell to New York and California. then when the police and all those protective details (that carry guns) surrounding these anti-gun idiots can’t get ammo or weapons, they’ll have to back track.
God bless Hornady, all my family and friends and they’re families already use Hornady Ammo, that’s all we hunt with but we plink with cheaper Ammo. That now will change. I’d rather pay a higher price to plink to a company willing to stand up for my rights and for WHAT’S right against this kind of Tyranny! Thanks Steve.

Not quite sure how Hornady’s refusal to sell stands up Constitutionally, but I support their initiative !!
Hornady has the right to sell to whomever they want or refuse to. Just like a bar can refuse to serve for whatever reason.
Normally, after this kind on idiotic thing happens, retail sales go up for this brand. Hope this is the situation here. Scare tactics do not work. I stand with Hornady and their President.
Absolute 100% agree with Hornady’s stance. Government departments should not be allowed to perform these types of pressure tatics. This is a blatant discriminant act and those involved should be censored from government office and posts
