Proof: Portland Anti-Gunners Want More Rioting and Looting
Why does an anti-gun group backed by billionaires need to fund-raise, and why side with rioters? Well…
Well, this is a new low: A Seattle-based gun prohibition lobbying group is siding with rioters, looters and urban terrorists in Portland, Oregon in an attempt to smear law-abiding gun owners, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) said today. The anti-gun group, called “The Alliance for Gun Responsibility,” is trying to raise money by conflating police violence with civilian gun ownership.
“We’ve seen some outrageous claims by the gun control crowd over the years,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “but Friday’s fund raising appeal that tried to blame federal agents dispatched to Portland to protect federal property for continued riots is simply unconscionable.”
The Alliance for Gun Responsibility, a billionaire-backed anti-gun rights group, claims “federal agents have descended on the city turning the largely peaceful protests against racism and police brutality into violent clashes.”
Creating Myths
“Like their usual anti-gun rhetoric,” Gottlieb observed, “the false image of Portland’s protests the Alliance is trying to create is a myth and they know it. Street thugs, using legitimate demonstrations as cover, have rampaged in downtown Portland for about two months before the Trump administration sent federal agents to protect Government property.
“Maybe the Alliance doesn’t care about the attempts by some rioters to blind officers by shining lasers in their eyes,” he added. “What’s next, blaming match companies for the arson at the Portland Police Association offices?
Boosting the Body Count
The Alliance also criticizes President Trump for sending federal agents to Chicago in an effort to stem the bloody violence that has taken over that city’s streets.
“Would they rather allow the Windy City bloodshed to continue,” he wondered. “Are they hoping for a higher body count, just so they can exploit the violence to push a gun control agenda that has been a complete failure?
“It’s bad enough these wealthy elitists want to disarm law-abiding citizens,” he stated. “Now they’re openly supporting urban terrorists who’ve been costing taxpayers and private businesses tens of millions of dollars. No wonder so many more Americans are buying guns for personal protection.
“I would say ‘shame on these people’ if I thought it would matter,” Gottlieb said, “but past experience shows they have no shame, only a political agenda, and they’ll reach as low as they must in order to achieve their anti-gun rights goals.”

‘Minor’ vandalism that ‘may’ have been done in Seattle? Amigo, you need to open your eyes before you open your keyboard.
Well, yes, they must stoop as low as it takes to get rid of guns in civilian hands so they can get rid of the rest of the BoR.
By defunding the police departments they can then show that the local police can not care for their citizens and so then the federal government can come in and take control of the department and the Socialist government can then has a national police force. Obama has started it by taking over some cities because of federal lawsuits.
Now they will have the power and the authority to govern everyone, next fun’s control and finally submission of the people.
Read the history of socialistic countries and you will learn exactly what is coming if you do not stop it.

Let them come. I’m getting old and cranky, so releasing a bit of repressed anger would probably feel good, right about now. And I too gave the Oath.
I have kind of believed that from the beginning of the “Defund” movement. They want violence with people using guns to defend themselves and some vigilantism so if Biden gets elected he can declare martial law so order can be restored and the sheep will go along with it. Martial law “temporarily” suspends some Constitutional rights which would make the Second Amendment very vulnerable.
I’m just waiting for them to cross the line and attack an elitist democrat or two and see the shtf! It will get ugly then!!!
Paul – the ‘protestors’ in Portland were not exactly ‘cordial’ to mayor ted the other night. Don’t forget as well that they also ‘demonstrated’ – peacefully of course, if you disregard the minor vandalism that they have done in Seattle, Olympia and Louisville.
Exactly what – or maybe how high the body count gets – before the liberal ‘bureaucrats’ face reality remains to be seen.
When your ideas suck and no one wants them you have to make up a narrative that the unintelligent among us will get behind. Black Lives Matter is nothing more than a Marxist group whose aim is to overthrow the government of the United States. God help us if the democrats take power in the November election as this crap will be nation wide and there only will be one way to stop it.
Jon – the whole black lives matter schtick is founded upon a massive lie – hands up don’t shoot. Of course marxism is also built on a heap of lies as well so there is that.
If it is true that legitimate protests are being hijacked by thugs who want to riot and loot then we don’t want to be seen as bigots opposed to minority rights when we use arms to prevent crime. Neither do we want to be perceived as disregarding concerns about police use of force when we support the rule of law. I would like to see gun owners and gun groups reach out to minority gun owners as well as establish a dialog so that peaceful demonstrators are not seen as rioters and responsible gun owners are not seen as white supremacists. Whether you accept that “black lives matter” or not, remember that when the red flag orders or mandatory gun buy backs come along, we will be on the receiving end of police action.
