You knew it in your heart…now you can prove it.
A brand new Rasmussen survey indicates that 64 percent of likely U.S. voters say “it’s not possible to completely prevent mass shootings,” and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) says this is proof you are smarter than Joe Biden and his anti-gunners Democrat colleagues on Capitol Hill.
“We’re not surprised that a majority of likely voters have this one figured out better than Biden,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “After Georgia and Colorado, fewer than one in four (23%) believe mass shootings can be completely prevented, and those voters must live in the same fantasy land as the president and his Congressional comrades.”
The Rasmussen survey shows 51 percent of voters don’t believe stricter gun control laws would help prevent mass shootings. Only 39 percent think tougher laws are the answer, the survey said. A majority (49%) also thinks the United States does not need stricter gun laws, the poll revealed, while 46 percent think the country needs tougher laws.
“As one might expect,” Gottlieb observed, “Democrats by a 77 percent margin favor stricter gun control laws, but 71 percent of Republicans are against tougher laws, and so are 60 percent of Independent voters, according to the survey.
“What this tells us at the Citizens Committee is that Joe Biden and the Democrat leadership are out of touch with a majority of voters,” he continued, “and Democrats as a whole actually make up the so-called ‘fringe’ of the electorate when it comes to guns and the Second Amendment. We have said it before, and will continue repeating it, Democrats have become the party of gun confiscation and prohibition, not just gun control. The farther Democrats drift toward an anti-freedom, anti-liberty agenda, the farther the party, and its leadership, move away from traditional American ideals.
“We have been saying for years what a majority of likely voters are now telling Rasmussen,” Gottlieb said. “It must drive Biden and the Democrats crazy—although they would never admit it—to learn a majority of likely voters agree with us rather than with their extremist gun control agenda. Biden and his gun grabbing allies have been wondering for years why they can’t push their anti-gun schemes. Looks like we’re standing in their way.”

I thinks we may be missing the whole idea behind Biden’s (Democrats) gun grab. It seems to me (and maybe I’m just wrong) but history is repeating it’s self. Take away their guns so they can’t stop you from their control of you and the country. Make us their servants, dependent on what they are willing to give us and take away all our rights and benefits They want to change American to their way of thinking, keep use from going back to the gold standard and keep a democrats is power which makes this all possible. What do you all think? All of history tells us, “what’s the first thing a group do to take over a country” take away you’re guns”!.

Latest mass shootings in California (yesterday), Virginia, and.Colorado point out failures of gin control. All have Red Flag Laws, all have background checks and at least two have waiting periods. While the lose of life is tragic, as well as devastating to the families; it does make other failures stand out. The Colorado shooter had a history of violence, was thought to be paranoid by his family (at least their claim), and was on the FBI’s radar for ties to terrorism. How did he get and keep a firearm? The Virginia shooting sounds like two gangs had a dispute and didn’t care who was in the way. Were any of the users the legal owner of the firearm? I haven’t seen anything. I’ve seen no details of the California shooting yet, but given the state’s laws, it will be interesting to see how they try to use the standard narrative. I did leave out the one shooting spree by a White man. Yes, it did occur in a state that overall is friendly to firearms. But three of the four don’t fit the narrative

I always knew the average gun owner was brighter than those who believe everything they’re told and take everything they read at face value without putting in the effort to actually think about what it is that they just read or heard.
Anti-2A advocates go through life as automatons, simply parroting what they’ve heard, many times without even understanding it.
If they weren’t such a threat to one of my freedoms, I’d feel sorry for them. But as it is, I don’t. I despise them for their lack of effort and laziness.

Who the hell said prospective tyrants had to be “in step” with the people, I thought it was the other way around, out of step. None of the democrats have the “people” in mind for anything good. Since the total wealth of all the billionaires in the country is 3 trillion or less and that much of the wealth of millionaires is the ownership of businesses and stock in large corporations I have no idea how they can spend FIVE trillion on infrastructure on top of the trillions for other necessities and a few billion on frigging strangers from all over the world. with taxing the bejeezus out of everybody.

My family came to this country to avoid religious persecution and settled in Pennsylvania. We have never owned slaves and we forged guns for the American Revolution against the British tyranny. Some of those guns were so well-made that they are still around and work. Living in Illinois with some of the toughest gun control laws on the books has not stopped even one of the many mass shootings in Chicago land on any given weekend. Indeed, it is so commonplace that these shootings are not reported nationally and sometimes not even locally. Tougher gun laws are NOT the answer. Better funded police and tougher sentences on those criminals that use the guns for violent purposes are.

No guns crazies and terrorists switch to knives, bombs, trucks etc. Stop the crazies. Not the protectors of the sheep.

The Democrats don’t want gun control to prevent the death of innocents by bad people, they want gun control to strip the people of their right to bare arms and protect, from those same bad people and the corrupt government when it becomes other than what the constitution allows, exactly the case we now have allowed to exist. Unarmed citizens are little threat to a corrupt government leadership hell bent on dominance over the people and destroying the foundations of our democracy, it’s really that simple!

Yes they are wrong stricter laws only effective on law abiding citizens not criminals who are already breaking the law so what do they care about another new law they are already breaking them anyway s
