LOCKDOWN! Surgeon General Says Guns Are “Public Health Crisis”

STOCK UP ON TOILET PAPER! DON’T GO OUTSIDE OR YOU MIGHT CATCH A CASE OF THE GLOCKS!

If you require any further evidence that the Biden administration is determined to do anything but right, spend a moment with what the Surgeon General of the United States just said about gun ownership. We all know what it means when there’s a public health crisis, right? It means the Constitution is null and void! The right to freely assemble, the right to speak your mind, the right to practice your religion … none of these mean anything if you can call it a “public health crisis.”

Hey, Dr. Murthy, I have an idea for you: How about you research the 15,000 nursing home residents who died in New York? Or the massive increase in mental illness in the last four years? Or all the fifth graders who all of a sudden mysteriously can’t read? No “public health crisis” there, huh?

The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) has some thoughts on the matter. Until later, dear readers …

WEAR A MASK!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Responding to U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy’s outrageous claim that gun-related violent crime is a “public health crisis,” the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms declared, “Gun ownership is not a communicable disease, it’s a constitutional right.”
“This is just one more effort by the Biden administration to demonize guns and the law-abiding citizens who own them,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “The problem with violent crime is not that it is a disease, but a symptom of failed leadership, from the White House on down. From the day he took office, Joe Biden has treated gun owners like social lepers. He considers us second-class citizens who should be ostracized as though we are spreading a plague.”
Murthy reportedly complained to the Associated Press that America is unsafe. He implied people cannot “go to school, go to work, go to the supermarket, go to our house of worship, without having to worry that that’s going to put our life at risk.”
“Dr. Murthy is simply Joe Biden’s mouthpiece,” Gottlieb continued. “The real crisis in America is the failed policies of the Biden administration. Instead of focusing on locking up felons and disarming criminal gangs, he wants to disarm millions of honest gun owners whose only crime is that we exercise our right to keep and bear arms.
“Certain government positions should always be trusted, by never being partisan,” he added. “The U.S. Surgeon General is one of those positions. However, in the aftermath of Dr. Murthy’s gun control tirade, it is clear the Biden administration has made every government agency overtly political.
“Dr. Murthy says firearms should be treated like other regulated consumer products such as cars or pesticides,” Gottlieb observed. “In that, he fails even high school civics, because cars and pesticides are not specifically protected by the Bill of Rights, but firearms ownership is.”
    Bring back the Death Penalty and enforce it for those convicted of crimes commited with a firearm.
    We are too soft on dangerous criminals.
      My question to you is, what if thevperson is convicted of murder for shooting someone harming their child or shooting someone to sace another life. Would that justify the death penalty? There is a difference between legal and moral often times the moral thing to do is not the legal thing to do. I am a form believer in self defense and i believe if someone clearly is defending themself and ends up having to take a life to do so then no crime has been committed. Even in the book of Exodus on of the commandments is Thou shakt not commit murder. There is a difference between self defense and senseless murder.
    Hmm – lemme see, since there are at least 100+ MILLION gun owners who are for the most part the most well behaved segment of society, I’m gonna ‘guess’ that this is just one of the latest ploys to demonize us.
    And never mind that this ‘surgeon general’ used extremely flawed data to draw his conclusion. I’ve noted on many occasions that if ya start with a faulty premise you WILL reach a faulty result. To wit: it has been proved categorically that guns are NOT the leading cause of death of yutes, unless faulty data is used (counting those as old as 26 or so as ‘children doesn’ make it so).
    It should be considered a mental health or moral issue that these people are getting shot, but they aren’t willing to address the causes of that.
    I don’t hear them saying we should more heavily regulate cars or driving, even though so many people are harmed by them.
    It is Democraps and their love of Criminals that is the TRUE Health Crisis. See if they would put the power to punish back into the law especially when it comes to the Death Penalty and when and how to use it. Look at any Democrap RUINED City and State you will find they treat Criminals far far better than the Law abiding and especially law enforcement. Democraps scream about police treating minorities badly but won’t do the one thing that would end such actions. See because they want those Union monies they WON’T end the round robin hiring of bad officers. See instead of saying 3 PROVEN charges of brutality an officer is banned for life from Law enforcement of any kind in America they block that bill because if a person is tossed from a Union they don’t pay dues and that means less money for Democraps.
