CCRKBA Launches Pro-Second Amendment TV Ads

The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is launching a multi-network television advertising effort next week to alert the nation’s gun owners about H.R. 127, a gun control measure that takes extremism to a dangerous new level.
“We’re calling this the ‘SAVE2A.US’ campaign because that’s exactly what it is,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “H.R. 127, introduced by veteran anti-gun Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, is a dreadful piece of legislation mandating gun owner licensing and registration, mandatory psychological examinations of gun owners, mandatory gun owner insurance, mandatory minimum prison sentences for gun owners who do not comply, and bans on whole classes of firearms and original capacity magazines.
“Democrats are attempting to implement this legislation,” he continued, “and could take action within the next few weeks. Once again, Democrats are trying to turn your Second Amendment right into a government-regulated privilege, and we’re alerting gun owners across the country about this alarming new threat to the Bill of Rights.”
CCRKBA’s 60-second message will be broadcast 25 times, Gottlieb said, on the following networks: DirecTV, Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, the Weather Channel, HLN, OANN, the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and the Inspiration Channel.

“America’s gun owners are facing the most sinister attack on their Second Amendment rights I’ve ever seen,” Gottlieb observed. “Jackson Lee’s legislation is really just the tip of the iceberg, because with Joe Biden in the White House, Beltway Democrats are determined to destroy the Constitution’s cornerstone Amendment.
“Anyone who values their rights needs to get involved in this effort,” he concluded. “We are going toe-to-toe against an ominous piece of legislation that amounts to a clear and present danger to our firearms freedoms.”

The 2nd amendment was created just in case the federal govt forgot that we have a 1st amendment. The problem is that the federal govt believes that the 2nd amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms. That is not true. The founders said, “rights are endowed by our creator”. And that would cover the entire bill of rights, especially the the first 2. The rights we have as americans were already assumed and accepted at the time of constitutional ratification. In other words, they werent given to us by govt, so govt cant take them away. I urge everyone to contact their local or state officials about this fact. It is very important for for all states to band together and have each others backs in this very important issue. The federal govt has become way to powerful, and needs to be put back in check!
What do these people not understand about “shall not be infringed” ?
The bad thing is, all of the new gun buyers from early 2020 up until this day, with a large majority of Liberals buying guns and permit classes in monthly record numbers with women and minorities leading the way. The Biden voters are still oblivious to the fact that the Democrats are going to do their best and take away as much of the 2nd Amendment rights as they can, also Biden plans to stack the Supreme Court for these actions to happen. I wish they could run this Ad on more popular everyday channels to be able to reach everyone that doesn’t watch those mentioned channels. I hope rational Libs can understand the dire consequences that the President plans to make for law abiding citizens to continue keep and bare arms, the Democrats wants all this unity and for Americans to come back together again, but by actions such as this, they continue to divide. Our forefathers added this right to the Constitution of the United States of America only trumped by the first amendment. Freedom of speech which is also being slowly taken away from us. I just can’t follow a law that was authored by a total nut job crazy person like Lee. Unfortunately all my firearms were lost in a boating accident and I probably won’t be buying any more any time soon. The more intrusive laws the democrats create the more people will slip through their insane fingers. How will a law like this be enforced and by who? I know where I live the 2nd amendment is gospel.

Absolutely correct. If the liberal judges and district attorneys would prosecute to the full extent of the law, if the death penalty were brought back, if morality were taught in our schools ALL crime might be reduced eventually. But that would take cooperation from the liberals and I don’t see that happening.
