CCRKBA: Anti-Gunners Want “Research,” Not Action

The hills are alive with the sound of treason…
Capitol Hill gun-grabbers have tried everything (except for anything) to stop mass shootings, and they’re all out of ideas!
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Anti-gunners do not want to stop mass shootings. Mass shootings help gin up the fear and anxiety that they believe will persuade Americans to give up their Second Amendment rights. Mass shootings engender emotion, not reason, and that’s the anti-gunners’ bread-and-butter. Furthermore, anti-gunners apparently feel that mass shootings are appropriate and defensible if the shooter is angry about a cause they believe in. Today, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is holding Congress accountable … and we should, too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms today blasted Capitol Hill Democrats for once again pushing legislation to finance “gun violence prevention research” in response to the Nashville tragedy, and instead called on Congress to provide funding to make schools “hard targets.”
“Anti-gun Democrats want to spend $50 million a year for the next five years to finance boondoggle research by the CDC under something called the ‘Gun Violence Prevention Research Act,” noted CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “That $250 million would be far better spent supporting local districts to hire armed school resource officers, improve school building security, and/or provide funding to local police agencies for personnel whose job is to protect schools.
“Democrats want to make it appear they’re doing something by spending a fortune in taxpayers’ money for research by the CDC which,” he continued, “experience tells us will result in recommendations for additional gun control, while not preventing a single crime. Democrats want to sit around for the next five years pontificating about nasty-looking guns while parents, teachers, and local law enforcement want action now.
“Why spend five more years on unproductive research which,” Gottlieb contended, “we all know, will ultimately recommend more research? It translates to job perpetuation for bureaucrats who do nothing while our schools remain vulnerable soft targets.
“Capitol Hill Democrats didn’t learn a thing from Nashville,” Gottlieb stated, “while the rest of the country learned a lot. We were reminded that a swift response by well-trained, courageous officers produces a quick resolution to a murderous incident. We learned immediate action by boots-on-the-ground cops works far better than standing around outside wondering what to do next, while the sound of gunfire echoes through school hallways. And, we saw that a deranged killer taken down decisively is not going to harm anyone else.”
Gottlieb said school security camera footage revealed a weak spot in any public building. Glass doors, he observed, “may look pretty but they don’t keep criminals out.” He said $50 million can help provide one of the simplest improvements: stronger doors that cannot be shattered by gunfire.
“We know there’s a mental health crisis, not a gun crisis, and we don’t need more research to prove it,” Gottlieb said. “Let’s spend the taxpayers’ money where it will do the most good. While we improve the mental health services we already have, use this proposed $250 million to harden our schools and protect the soft, innocent lives inside.”
You want to stop school shootings, put the police and national guard at every school in America.
The $50 billion bye dumb ordered sent to the Ukraine could have been used to put armed security and steel doors and metal detectors at every school in America.
Does anyone really think the Ukraine will pay this money back?
Another thing, put the school shooters parents in jail, after all they are the ones who raised these monsters this way, they are responsible.
Allow school teachers to carry concealed.
It seems to be the only parents who don’t want police or teachers ( armed) in schools, is parents whose children are gang.members and drug dealers.
Home school your children, help protect them from vicious gangs, drug dealers and pedophile.
The gun banning cults say that there has been over 100 school shootings so far this year, where? They also claim that 100 children are killed every day in school shootings.
These gun banning cults say anyone under 25 is a child and any shooting within five miles of a school is a school shooting, even if it is a robber robbing a liquor store.
These gun banning cults are run and funded by Michael Bloomberg, George Soros and the Chinese government.
These gun banning cults want all guns banned in America. Okay, what will you do when you have a home invasion? If you can call the police, it may take 10, 15 or 20 minutes for police to show up at your house. Do you know what these criminals can do to you and your family in that time?
In the U.K., home invasions are increasing. They now spray acid at the home owners. The criminals are armed with knives and sharpened screwdrivers. Many are drug addicts, high on drugs and are paranoid, and psychotic.
In the tranny community, they are calling the Nashville shooter a maytar, fighting against the Christians and republicans. Many churches report getting threats from these groups.
The administration is having sections of the border wall taken down and sold off for scrap. This allows the cartels, M13 gang members, M18 gang members, felons, murderes, terrorists, spies, criminals and prostitutes to cross the border and the administration welcomes them and the crime that they bring.
The administration blamed the increase on crime on law abiding American gun owners!
The Central American countries and South American countries are emptying out their jails and prisons and sending thousands of prisoners and convicts to America and the administration welcomes them and the crime that they bring.
News articles have said thousands of gang members from El Salvador and Haiti have come to America, causing crime, drug dealing and murders, but the administration again blames law abiding American gun owners.
Support and protect your “Right” to keep and own all types of firearms, magazines and accessories.
Don’t allow the evil, far leftist, power crazed politicians to ban and confiscate our guns.
Tell your politicians to allow shoulder stocks on handguns and to allow “trapper style’ lever action rifles with 12″, 13″,14″,15” barrels.
David’s article is so off base it’s hard to understand which reality he lives in.
Fact: Enhanced gun legislation is not aimed at outlawing guns. It’s focus is to increase accountability of gun owners.
Fact: As a lifetime member of the NRA my father emphasized the importance of supporting Safety and Training when handling guns. Today’s NRA is only interested in getting guns into unqualified, untrained individuals. This is seriously reckless behavior from an organization that built its foundation based on gun safety.
Fact: Researching vs Action is what Congress has been doing for over 50 years. Research equals status quo.
How many studies have been done already? They don’t want a study, they want someone to manipulate the facts to prove whatever point they are trying to make.
I’d go for some research, on what to do about the nuts. With the psychiatric world refusing to classify them as dangerous when necessary. Their rights DO NOT exceed ours.
