Weatherby Updates Mark V Accumark Rifles

Introduced 61 years ago, the iconic Weatherby Mark V Accumark series of bolt-action hunting and long-range rifles has undergone a major update–according to the company, all three models in the line have now been updated with new features, new technologies, new style…and new pricing. Given that this series of rifles has six decades’ worth of history and reputation as one of America’s premier tack-drivers, this might be a bit of a gamble. That said, Weatherby assures us that this is absolutely the same classic Weatherby that America has loved since its introduction in 1958, but incorporating features that customers have requested over the decades.

“The classic look of the Accumark with the #3 contour stainless steel barrel is being expanded upon by adding the Pro and Elite versions to the line. The new carbon fiber stocks of the Pro and Elite offer many shooting options from hunting to bench shooting all while saving weight. We have taken all the feedback we have received from consumers and have implemented these upgrades to grow the popular Accumark line ” Says Luke Thorkildsen, VP Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.

The new Weatherby Mark V Accumark, Accumark Pro, and Accumark Elite all have the following features:

• New TriggerTech Mark V trigger
• SUB MOA Guarantee
• Cerakote on all metal work (Pro and Elite)
• New spiral fluted bolt
• Accubrake ST with standard 5/8×24 threads on all calibers
• Monte Carlo Fiberglass Stock or Carbon Fiber Stock available on Select Models

The Accumark (base model) has a black stock with grey webbing, spun stainless barrel with 2-tone Graphite Black Cerakote finish, and a Graphite Black barrel/receiver with a black spiral fluted bolt and safety lever. MSRP $1,999; Weight Standard Action: 7.3 LBS / Magnum Action: 8.3 LBS

The Accumark Pro features a carbon fiber stock, Tungsten Cerakote on fluted barrel/receiver, and Graphite Black bolt and safety. MSRP $2,499; Weight Standard Action: 7.1 LBS / Magnum Action: 7.9 LBS

The Accumark Elite features an adjustable comb carbon fiber stock with Coyote Tan Elite Cerakote on barrel/receiver with a Graphite Black spiral bolt and safety lever. MSRP $2,799 Weight Standard Action: 7.6 LBS / Magnum Action: 8.4 LBS
