When Steyr Arms USA announced at the 2019 SHOT Show that they were bringing a new pistol to market, I was interested. When I learned the pistol was to be called the MF, I was delighted. And when I discovered that I was going to have to wait until at least Spring before I could have one, I was disappointed…but all good things come to those who wait. It’s been confirmed that the Steyr A2 MF is now here on American soil! These gorgeous and functional examples of Austrian engineering are one of the hottest tickets around–so much so that only a few aren’t already accounted for in pre-orders. Don’t despair, though, because even if you’re too impatient to wait for the next shipment, there’s still a way to get your hands on an MF. Steyr’s holding an Open House & Factory Direct Sale this coming August 15-17, at their headquarters in Bessemer, Ala., and word has it that they’ve held back a quantity of MFs for any MF willing to hop in their car.
