Its hard to look to the future when you only have one eye

If you’re tired of businesses that try to sell you products with one hand while they undermine your gun rights with the other, you’ll be excited to know that the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has created a handy-dandy list of anti-gun businesses that don’t want your money. They’re calling it “Don’t Feed the Gun Prohibitionists,” and although it’s not a new idea, it’s one whose time has come. Click here to check it out!

For years, Second Amendment supporters have voted with their wallets and boycotted businesses that don’t support our values. We want nothing to do with the Levi’s Lizards or Dick’s (no matter how much Mike Bloomberg loves them). Some sly pranksters have even gone so far as to trade spare magazines for ugly anti-gun Toms shoes. It’s a strategy that works, as Dick’s flaccid sales have proven.

“Many brand name businesses and corporate leadership have a nefarious agenda to limit gun rights,” said CCRBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “Their current and potential patrons should have the knowledge of what their hard earned dollars are actually funding.

“A free market dictates the right of consumers to know about the products they purchase,” he continued, “and we encourage people buy products from companies they can count on to not support efforts aimed at curtailing constitutional rights. By providing this information, we hope gun owning consumers make reasonable decisions about which businesses to patronize. This might convince some businesses to re-think their core values.”

CCRKBA’s list includes such recognizable names as Costco, Burger King, Delta Airlines, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Hallmark, the Hard Rock Café, Levi Strauss, Microsoft, Progressive Insurance, Sara Lee and Yelp. There are nearly 200 businesses and their bosses on the list. The roster represents companies and corporate leadership that have made donations and/or advocated on behalf of gun control organizations, including sending an open group letter to the United States senate urging additional restriction and firearms bans.

Here’s that link from CCRKBA again–we recommend bookmarking it so it’s handy the next time you want to spend your hard-earned dollars on a business that supports your Second Amendment rights!

  2. seniors be aware AARP IS ALSO ANTI 2ND AMT ANTI GUN AND SUPPORTS B L M I SWITCHED to Amac www. amac.us they support 2nd amt and are pro gun nuff’ said.jimbo

    1. They kept sending me snail mail to join. I sent a letter back saying that I had heard they didn’t support second amendment rights, and if that was true, take me off their mailing list. I haven’t received any mail from them since.

  3. This list seems pretty ancient. If you are going to boycott all of these, you will be sheltering in place forever with no phone or TV. Just sayin’
I intend to boycott the Democrat party. I will never, ever, vote for another Democrat, not even for dog catcher.

    1. You are right. This list is old. Has a couple companies that have had change of leadership and change of gun/ammo policy. Also does not list the Walmart/Sams conglomerate with its 99.7 percent communist china products.

  4. DICK”S was a great gun business until the anti-gun FACISTS took over now I would not cross their doorway if the gave me ammo for life.

  5. Laugh out loud. so you click on the above link for the list of businesss from CCRKBA . Then you read it and then feel like getting a membership with them. Then it comes to payment and PAYPAL is an option, and there on the anti gun list. What sense does that make?

  6. Have another one for you. US Bank

I had a photography business checking account with them as well as a personal checking account and their VISA credit card. When I went into the local branch to open a business checking account for my gun business they turned me down as they didn’t want to do business with a gun company.

I went over to the teller, drew out all my money and closed all of my accounts.

As an aside, it would be nice if the companies degree of anti2A was mentioned. For instance, Uber and Lyft are both listed. If you need to use one or the other, which is worse?

  7. Sorry to say but some I cannot get away from, Comcast is the ONLY cable co in our area. Enterprise is the nearest car rental (once in 4 years).

    1. Do you need cable? How about getting DSL service and then buy whatever channels you need?

      1. I agree with Barry. On my budget I have to save a buck where I can so I’m not going to pay extra fees for my bussiness. My bank has the “no guns” sign on it but I’m saving with my military checking acct…….I look at it this way if they want to disarm me then they guarantee my safety if I’m shot I will sue the hell out of them (or family can if I don’t make it)!

  8. Now add that to the list of companies who have given money to the organization Black Lives Matter and you have a great starting point of businesses to avoid. For those that don’t know the Black Lives Matter organization isn’t about black lives at all. It’s a Marxist organization dedicated to removing capitalism from this country and replacing it with communism. Donating money to their website actually is a donation to Act Blue which is a democrat run organization who are the biggest anti-gun group on the planet.

  9. Once you realize that the Majority of Global Corporations LOVE Communism & Ching Chong Chicoms then you will realize that if You Don’t Buy Their Product They Want You DEAD!

  10. How about a list of major pro gun companies? Even a list of corporations that have been silent is a better alternative to these bastards!!!

    1. Yes, that would make it easier for us to put them on our shopping list instead of trying to see which ones we should avoid. So many of these companies think they can do things w/o consequence. I plan to write to each company telling them they won’t smell another penny from me or my family until they change their positions on a Constitutional RIGHT that we have.

  11. For me, it is not a useful list. My policy is what individuals do is their business. It’s when a company uses its funds or policies to be anti-2A it becomes a problem for me. Sure, I prefer a CEO as an individual support the 2A, but he’s still an individual. Now if a board of directors or a CEO directs that *company* funds be used, that’s a different story. Or if a CEO uses his/her public profile to fight 2A, that also rubs wrong. But if you single out the individual actions of one employee, you might as well be disgusted with any employee of that company. Then you will be boycotting *every* business on the planet, just about.

    1. Did you read what this list is comprised of? They have anti-gun policies in place or are actively pushing law makers to enact anti-gun laws.

  12. There isn’t a single company listed that I NEED anything from. Thanks for the list. I feel better already

  13. These are every day companies that have come against 2A. It would be helpful to offer a list that has alternatives to the above.

  14. All costco locatioms have a comments card box as you exit by all of their travel and other services brochures. Every once in a while I fill out a card and ask them ” Hey this is Florida, how about selling some discount bulk Ammunition?”

I’m sure it sets off some snowflake upper manager somewhere.

Lets get our “Peaceful Protest” on and have everyone fill out a suggestion card every once in while.

    1. Good idea, as OUR “peaceful protest” will actually BE peaceful, unlike the “fake news” saying the “peaceful protests” for George Floyd is anything BUT that! Anarchists and communists unfortunately roam free in our country because we grant them that right, but what’s disgusting is that the police in liberal run cities and states don’t do anything to stop the violence because the mayors/governors of those states WANT chaos and disorder to make President Trump look bad. It’s ALL politics on the left and all they want is their POWER back so they can rule over all of us.

  15. I have not set foot in a Dick’s store since they came out with an anti firearm policy. In my opinion they are all dicks and unworthy of my business. It is my understanding that their revenue has fallen since they went anti first amendment and for me it speaks volumes about American’s attitude about firearms.

    1. The local Dick’s is an hour away, but I still make a point to stop by when we happen to be in the mall… Their bathrooms are usually pretty clean, after all… ;p

I was rather disturbed when I walked by the three young men debating which bb pistol looked the most real. Nothing I could effectively stop, but I know some bad was coming.

    1. Actually, you’d be better off going to NAPA. O’reilly may not be on this list of anti-2A companies, but a huge amount of parts they sell come from CHINA. They’re really poor in quality as I’ve bought ignition coils for my car and they didn’t perform well from the day I installed them. Ended up buying genuine coils from Honda which was only about $10 more each and ran great to this day. NAPA has many American made parts and their Premium line has ignition parts that are made in Japan if you have a Japanese branded car. My friend had 2 starters from O’reilly that failed within a year; unfortunately for him, he didn’t keep the receipts. Now Napa has reman starters and alternators that also have a lifetime warranty (they didn’t used to; previously it was 1 or 2 years).
