Facts Gun-Grabbers Wish You Didn’t Know, Black Rifle Edition
Here’s an “inconvenient truth” that today’s crop of gun-banners wishes you’d ignore…
If you listen to the current crop of Presidential candidates, it would be very easy to assume that America is currently drowning in the blood shed by AR-15s; after all, each one of them has made banning the sale of black rifles a central plank in their platforms…with some even going so far as to call for confiscation for ARs already in circulation (lookin’ at you, Beta O’ Dork). However, every party needs a pooper and that’s why we invited the FBI, which has recently come out with their 2018 crime report. It contains something interesting that every last one of the aforementioned Presidential hopefuls would very much like for you to ignore:
Violent crime is down. Homicide rates are down. Murders committed with firearms are down. And, finally, the number of murders committed with any kind of rifle–AR-15 or Granddad’s old Winchester .30-30–aren’t just down, they’re vanishingly small.
Let’s take a moment to review the figures, straight from the Fibbies (the link is here if you’re having trouble reading the numbers in this screenshot):
See that? In 2018, there were 297 homicides committed with rifles of any kind…what kind of rifle isn’t specified. But, just for the sake of argument, let’s pretend that every one of those 297 homicides was committed with a scary-looking black rifle with a shoulder thing that goes up and a double-barreled magazine extended clip. And we’ll pretend that every one of those homicides was a murder…and oh, yes, there’s a difference.
“Homicide” simply means killing a person deliberately. Not all homicides are murders; after all, the legal term for killing someone in self-defense is “justifiable homicide.” Officer-involved shootings also qualify as homicides. And although rifles in general are usually considered less-than-ideal for home defense due to overpenetration worries, they absolutely do get used for self-defense. For example, in this recent article, there are three Bad Guys who were justifiably killed by homeowners with rifles. Had those events taken place in 2018, all three of those justifiable homicides would have appeared on that chart, and the number would have been 300 instead of 297.
So, here we are being generous and pretending that all 297 homicides committed with rifles were actually AR-15 rifles, and none of the shootings were justified. That still means that only 62 more people died from an AR-15 bullet than from a hail of buckshot, given that 235 people were killed with shotguns. It also means that the average American is twice as likely to be murdered with someone else’s bare hands than they are with an AR-15 (again, if you can’t see the chart, 672 people were punched or kicked to death in 2018). The average American is also five times more likely to be cut or stabbed to death than they are to die from a rifle shot.
Of course, this is nothing new. Crime rates in the United States spiked in the mid-1990s and have been in a general (and quite sharp) decline since then. Although there’s been–and will continue to be–endless debate about why this happy trend is taking place, the fact that it is happening is not a secret. However, even back in the 1990s, when President Clinton’s Assault Weapons Ban was instituted, crimes committed with rifles of any kind were quite rare. They stayed rare throughout the length of the ban, and kept on being rare after it sunsetted in 2005.
So, if all of this is public knowledge and has been for quite some time, why all of the focus on modern sporting rifles? Sadly for Second Amendment supporters, the gun-grabbers have done a pretty good job of conflating the civilian-legal, semi-automatic black rifle with full-auto machine guns in the minds of the uninformed public. The reason they’ve done that is because they see AR-15s as being the low-hanging fruit of gun control; they know perfectly well that AR-15s and their law-abiding owners aren’t the problem. What they want is to have that precedent of banning a particular class of firearm, so that when they come back for the rest of the guns they want to ban–which, just so you know, is all of them–the public will have already accepted this as a thing they must tolerate.

And my black rifle only accounts for 300 roughly . So Beto let you all in on the big secret. They’ll start there and then it will be Glocks and then the auto loading shotguns and so forth and so on. The real truth is the Democrats want all the guns just like in Australia. I’ll give him (Beto)credit for at least to have the balls to admit the sick truth. So at least he’s hopefully opened the eyes of some guns owners who will get political and vote people out and others in. Time to take back Congress.
Why is it that the same people that say the death penalty for a sadistic mass murderer is inhumane but fight for late term and partial birth abortions.. No one has died of marijuana (as the sole cause of their death anyway) but people DO die from drugs prescribed to them by doctors daily, both due to side effects and over doses…
Well seems to me that opiods are pretty much legal now a days, and drug dealers are not getting caught like they used to…. All of this adds up to gun control you use pot or od on harder drugs you lose your right to own a gun (federal law), understand that game plan???
Democrats want guns out of the hands of civilians for only one reason. An armed civilian population means they can not do to this country what they truly want to do to this country, which is turn it into Venezuela or, pick any other screwed up socialist or communist country that you prefer.

Homicide
The simple act of killing of a human being gets classified as homicide. It does not require the intent of the criminal to be taken into account, and the fact that a man has died because of the fault of another person is enough to refer the act as homicide. This means that homicide is a broad, generic concept that could mean the difference between a lifer and an acquittal without a sentence. An act of harming an individual in defense of oneself or a family member leading to his death classifies as homicide and not murder. When a person gets killed in line of duty of a law enforcement officer, he is not charged with murder but homicide.
There are three different types of homicides called justifiable, excusable, and criminal. Among these three, it is the criminal homicide that carries most severe punishment as the act is unjustifiable. Justifiable homicides are acts where a human being gets killed in self defense or when one is trying to defend another person.
What is the difference between Murder and Homicide?
• Murder is a crime bigger than homicide
• There is malicious intent, in addition to the act of killing a human being, in murder while homicide is the simple act of killing a human being
• A murder convict is not only convicted with homicide but also the intent to kill
• A murder is always illegal while killings in act of self defense and in line of duty come under homicide
• Homicide is a neutral term while murder has negative connotations
Do anyone really think that reducing crime is why the democrats want to ban the AR-15? Just like the democrats in the house are trying to stage a silent coup the gun grabbers want you disarmed. They’ve seen it done with good results many times in history. The blood bath that follows is something they sure as hell don’t want you to know about. Once they have your guns and the 2nd amendment has fallen all the rest will soon follow and we will have a bunch of tyrants running our once great nation.

I was taught from a early age that first and foremost that a weapon was always to be handled as if it was loaded. I never put my finger on the trigger unless I tend to use it. Once the trigger is pulled there is no going back .It will not stop until it hits the intended target or something gets in or steps into the path of the bullet,and a bullet isn’t just traveling a few feet per second ,but several thousand feet per second.Sit down and watch the second hand on your watch within 3 ticks of that second hand a bullet has traveled 1 mile. The main thing is people need to be educated in the use of firearms rather than being condemned and threatened of having them taken away. It is our GOD GIVEN RIGHT to own and defend ourselves with our weapons from foreign and domestic threats and I will do just that til the day I die.

You can shove all the facts you want in front or up the arse of the gun grabbing left and it will do no good, they don’t care about “facts” they just want to ban anything that we(the right) want, like, etc….and IF they do happen to ban this one evil looking black rifle, the door is open and only a matter of time when all other guns will be banned….Never give up, never give up, never, never, never give up!
If we factor in >638,000/year legal killings under the abortion heading. Black rifles are the very least of our concerns
ai will point it out to the powers to be at the local Wal-Mart that five times more homicides were commuted by knifes than long guns. When will they pull them from their inventory? Will they p;lease inform me when this is done so I can rest knowing that they are making our world a safer place. .
