The latest wave of immigration from Italy is finally here…and not a moment too soon!
There’s terrific news in the ammunition world today: Fiocchi Ammunition is investing $15 million dollars to build a new manufacturing plant in Little Rock, Arkansas, bringing both jobs and (oh please please please) some high-quality ammunition stock to America’s empty shelves. The company may be relatively new to our shores, but their history and experience in creating premium ammunition dates back to 1876. Fiocchi’s new manufacturing facility will be churning out centerfire rounds as well as shotshells as quickly as we can buy them.
What a lot of people don’t know is that European gun control is relatively “new” (well, compared against the length of European history, that is). Fiocchi was founded in 1876 in Lecco, Italy, so their ammunition experience is roughly equivalent to that of American ammo giant Winchester. By the 1980s, Fiocchi immigrated to Missouri…but these days, it’s all about Arkansas. That’s no accident, as Second Amendment-friendly Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson explained.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Fiocchi to Arkansas,” Gov. Asa Hutchinson said. “One of my goals as governor has been to increase foreign-direct investment in the state, and this is a great example of what can happen when the state and local partners work together to nurture relationships with current and prospective leaders across the globe. I look forward to watching Fiocchi grow and prosper here.”
Isn’t it remarkable how letting businesses know that they are welcome tends to result in new jobs? “The momentum continues in Little Rock and central Arkansas with another new company announcement,” added Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. “Fiocchi’s decision to establish a new manufacturing location speaks volumes of our skilled workforce, logistical advantages, and ease of doing business. We appreciate Fiocchi and look forward to a long relationship with them.”
We here at Guns & Gadgets Daily are offering a hearty round of applause and a Rebel Yell to Fiocchi, as well as an urgent prayer that ammo stock starts rolling off their manufacturing line. But we would be remiss if we didn’t mention that you can win a case of Fiocchi ammunition right now with our Survive the Braindead $2K Gun & Gear Giveaway!

Even better, in the Clinton crime family’s own back yard. Nice way to give them a big fat middle finger. Hitlary is probably pooping her pants right now.

I learned of Fiocchi about 8 years ago when I started to buy Perfecta 223 & 9mm @ Wally world. It was price right and never had a problem with any of it. Quality ammo at an affordable price. Can wait to see it in the shelves again.

It’s always good to see companies invest in the United States! If however, Joe Biden wins the presidency many things will be in jeopardy. He’s said he will take guns away (personally I’d like to see him try) and I’ve heard others talking about shutting down ammo production. Those are not hollow threats. If the democrats get total control of the US government the things they will try is disgusting. They will shred the Constitution faster than you can say freedom.

Ah yes. I was wondering who would grab the Remington ammunition factory facilities just east of Little Rock and south of I-40. (You can see it from the interstate!) Perfect location with all needed facilities and a skilled labor force! Talk about your “turn key” operations! There is even a “shot tower”, for drop forming pellets for shot gun shells. Now, if someone would take over the old GM truck factory in Shreveport, LA, (Elio was supposed to be going into production of their 3 wheeled car there, but they look like they were a pipe dream that sucked up investment money and free use of city owned property with promises, but no results) that economy would come booming back as well.

I suspect Arkansas was chosen due to cheap labor and perhaps no union representation. And GM trucks are junk; they just announced they are staffing their truck assembly lines with white collar workers due to the impact of the Kung Flu on line workers. ‘How do I hold this wrench again?’. Going from bad to worse.

Vista Outdoor, the new owner of the Remington ammo manufacturing facility, has big plans to bring that plant back to life. Now we should have two ammo manufacturers hard at work making ammunition in Arkansas. It’s a big win for all of us, and particularly so in Arkansas.

Welcome Fiocchi and woo pig sooie!

Hoping Fiocchi can fill the shelves!!

I hope so too. But building a new plant will take a couple of years.
