Meprolight FRBS Sights: Batteries Not Included (Because You Don’t Need ‘Em)

Batteries not included–and that’s a feature, not a bug.
The first law of gunfighting is “Have a Gun,” but the second law of gunfighting belongs to Murphy.
Murphy’s Law dictates that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, and will do so at the worst possible time…so what’s the worst possible time you can think of? For hunters, it’s realizing that the scope lost its zero after having made a bad shot on a game animal; for competitive shooters, it’s realizing that the battery died right before their relay begins; for self-defenders, it’s…well, I don’t like to think about it. The fact of the matter is that optics can fail, but the Meprolight adjustable FRBS—Front, Rear Backup Sights—won’t.
Retailing for $147 (but available through online retailers like Amazon for less), these durable, tritium-enhanced, secondary sights are designed to lay flat against the Picatinny rail to maintain a low profile and be out of the way–until you need them, of course. They are constructed of fiberglass reinforced high-grade polymer and metal with a rearward operating spring that allows you to simply flip them forward into place. Windage and elevation adjustments are easy, no special tools required. The FRBS is the only backup sight on the market that incorporates tritium in the sights to improve the sight picture in any light…day or night. They’re available in your choice of two dot or four dot rear sight, in matte black or tan.
No matter your interest—self-defense, competitive, or hunting—the tritium-enhanced FRBS allows you to stay in the fight when your primary optic go down. It comes with a 12-year warranty on the tritium luminance. For more information or to find your local Meprolight Dealer, visit us.meprolight.com or call (717) 985-4482.
That said, Meprolight fans have the chance to win a set of backup sights–along with a Henry Golden Boy rifle, a Glock 43 by Rainier Arms, ammunition to feed them both from Federal and CCI, holsters and a gift certificate to N8 Tactical, and more–with our Second Amendment, First Defense $2K Guns & Gear Giveaway!
