Rock River’s RRAGE 3G: Budget-Friendly AR-15

No thats not a typo Ive chosen to pronounce it with a rolled R myself

One of the best things about the love affair America has with our AR-15 rifles is that, as time goes by, top-quality manufacturers like Rock River Arms have begun creating affordable black rifles like the brand-new RRAGE 3G. No, that’s not a typo–there are two R’s for Rock River–and with an MSRP of $820, you can assume that you’ll be able to find it at dealers for less. This new lower-price-point entry to the RRage series of rifles is designed to be an accurate and reliable way for new shooters and 3-Gun competitors to get into the world of Modern Sporting Rifles.

Weighing in at a slim 6.5 pounds, the new RRAGE 3G offers the same streamlined styling and efficient performance of the RRAGE 5.56 NATO carbine, but with a twist: Rock River Arms’ newest free-float handguard—a 15-inch lightweight aluminum handguard that extends across the length of the 16-inch chrome moly HBAR barrel. This new handguard is M-LOK compatible to provide custom accessorizing and is designed to blend smoothly with RRA’s proprietary extruded aluminum flat top upper. The combination delivers an upper assembly with clean, matching contours that is visually appealing and has a smooth, monolithic-style profile for quick, snag-free sling transitions.
