Stand Against Tyranny, Spread SAVE2A Campaign
The Second Amendment Foundation and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms today announced new momentum in their combined efforts to educate the American public about the ongoing efforts by the anti-gun Biden-Harris administration and their colleagues in Congress to erode gun rights and discourage gun ownership.
“Next week, we will see a combined total of 106 national TV spots on more than a dozen networks,” SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb revealed. “SAF will be airing its well-received ‘2nd Amendment First Responder’ message throughout the week.”
Viewers are being asked to text “PROTECT2A” to 474747.
Meanwhile, Gottlieb said, CCRKBA’s alert regarding extremist House legislative threats to Second Amendment rights will also be appearing. This is CCRKBA’s popular “SAVE2A” campaign, in which viewers are advised to text “SAVE2A” to 474747, he noted.
“Our combined campaigns have obviously been working,” Gottlieb observed. “Recent polling by three different groups—McLaughlin, Rasmussen and the Washington Post/ABC News surveys—shows public opinion has been strongly in favor of protecting Second Amendment rights, and enforcing existing laws instead of passing new ones.
“We will continue engaging the public until the Democrats realize they have ignited public outrage with their continued attacks on gun rights,” he added.
The combined campaign will see SAF and CCRKBA messages on the following networks: CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, One America News Network, Destination America, Bloomberg, BBC America, the Investigation Discovery Channel, American Heroes Channel, SYFY (Science Fiction), TLC (The Learning Channel), TruTV, DirecTV, The Weather Channel, HLN, Dish TV, CNBC, the Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel.
“Look at the pro-gun legislation that’s being passed,” Gottlieb said. “We’ve seen huge support for Constitutional Carry legislation in Iowa, Montana, Tennessee and Texas this year. The CCRKBA campaign definitely contributed to those efforts by increasing public involvement in the gun rights movement.
“Our increased SAF presence, not just on the airwaves but also on social media including Facebook and others, is also motivating Americans to get involved,” he added. “People are learning that Second Amendment rights belong to all of us, and we’re going to keep fighting to protect them.”
