  1. I think the original statement was most likely his true feelings, like so many liberal knee jerk reactions, soon to back pedal when those who buy their product or service voice displeasure with company line. Like a true politician, stick a wet finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing!

  2. Mr Daniel is spot on! This whole anti-2A/Firearms movement led by the leftist liberals is, in my humble opinion, a subversive action designed to not only eliminate our 2A rights but to forever change the intentions of the entire Constitution. Start with eliminating our rights to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government. Once that’s done, then the rest of our rights will surely topple with relative ease thereby creating a rich environment for socialism to quickly grow. One does not have to subscribe to the preservation of the 2nd Amendment to understand this. The individual elements of the document create the whole, thusly making one element equally as important as another. This was no accident when the founding fathers carefully and intelligently wrote the Constitution. They did indeed possess the foresight to create each element in this manner. That is why this all too important document has stood the test of time. It is our responsibility, no, our duty to preserve the Constitution as it was originally created. Never in it’s history has it ever been so viciously attacked as it presently is. Not even during the era of the “red scare” when all things America came under attack. Until now, our only war on American soil was a fierce battle over freedom. I can only pray that this battle over our 2A freedoms does not lead to another war on our blood stained soil.

  3. If the socialists among us treated the 2nd amendment the same as they do the rest of the Bill of Rights, we would {those who could afford it} have machine guns in every home. A tank in every garage and artillery on every block. I would bet every neighborhood would be a lot friendlier and have zero crime.
The major criminals would still be in the banks and congress.

  4. I think you hit the nail on the head and thank you for what you do for everyones constitutional rights thanks again

  5. These bills are just more of the anti-gunners program of getting us blind sided by more of the. “Don’t read it just pass it first” kind of B.S. that saddled us with obozo;s health care nightmare program. Do We The People want more of the same kind of crap? I for one have no intention of becoming the servient of my servient period!

  6. I think this is a very poorly written story. It’s just a copy of a post that was made by Daniel Defense, but nothing more. There is no background on what the original post was, why the change of mind really, what others said, etc.

    1. Rob: I can only assume he found out what was really in the Bill. It was not just to FIX the “reporting” problem, but they inserted a bunch of anti-gun problems. What is really even in the NEW bill is a good question.. It would be nice if they had put a link to the “existing Bill” so people could actually read what is currently inside it. Too many times these Bills have not been read by people voting on them! How they can do this is mind boggling; they should have to swear they read the entire Bill and understand what is included!

  7. Thank you for supporting our Constitutional Rights and Freedoms. Keep up the great work! Love your products!!

  8. Given that Marty Daniel’s original post SUPPORTING Senate Bill S.2135 is not here for everyone to see I think that your question is skewed in favor of defending Daniel Defense! I have read the original statement and the “Back Peddling” response and agree with other posts that I have seen elsewhere that Marty is indeed worried more about the economic backlash than he is about defending our 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights. It does not matter how well written an apology is written because it has already opened a wound in the people that mattered the most, all of us “Gun loving” consumers out here. Once that wound is opened up it takes a very long time to heal, AND even longer to regain the trust of those of us who fight with the understanding that there is no compromise when it comes the 2nd Amendment. The bottom line is that regardless of what comes out of their mouth, the ultra-elite socialists want all of our guns so they can control us.

So…in a nutshell………yes Marty Daniel went too far!
A little bit of research in the front end can save a whole lot of pain in the back end!!!!!

  10. Sometimes people speak out knowing only basic facts. How many times do news organizations announce BREAKING news and then have to modify or retract it as more details are exposed.

Mr. Daniel is human, and can make mistakes. But when he was made aware of the devil in the details, he withdrew his support. He is, IMHO, a better person for doing this.
