WATCH: XDMAN Reviews Thompson Auto Ordnance “Victory Girls” 1911

Ever owned a gun that made you say “pew pew pew” even when you weren’t shooting?

XDMAN is Guns & Gadgets Daily’s gonzo gun reviewer, and he’s seen everything–except an Auto Ordnance “Victory Girls” Tribute 1911 so cool that he just had to say “pew pew pew.” In this video, the XDMAN puts this nostalgic beaut through its paces. Designed to honor the women whose strength drove industry at home in support of our boys fighting overseas, this .45ACP 1911 is customized with deep-cut laser engraving of a pin-up girl much like the ones airmen would paint on the noses of their bombers on the right side, and an updated “Rosie the Riveter” on the left. Want one? From now through March 31, we’re giving one (as well as some other awesome prizes, like ammo, holsters, and a custom paint job from the XDMAN himself for whichever gun you want customized) away!

  1. Chad: What do you call those rings on a pole all over your range? I’m having trouble with folks overshooting the target area, and neighbors are rightfully complaining. I guess the goal is to shoot inside of the rings to keep you on your own target not your range buddy’s target.
