Today, we’ve learned that the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has updated its list of businesses and CEOs who push for increased gun control and prohibition, adding Gucci to the roster.
According to CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “We were reminded that Gucci donated $500,000 to the anti-gun March for Our Lives group started three years ago, and quickly was co-opted by the gun prohibition lobby.”
CCRKBA’s “Don’t Feed the Gun Prohibitionists” project has developed a dynamic list of businesses and CEOs who have been pushing for new legislation designed to impair the rights of law-abiding firearms owners. The current roster lists some 200 businesses and their CEOs.
“When we started this project last year,” Gottlieb recalled, “we were actually surprised, and in some cases disappointed, at some of the businesses we added to the list. We discovered several brand name businesses and corporate leaders who evidently have a nefarious agenda to limit gun rights. Their current and potential patrons should have the knowledge of what their hard earned dollars are actually funding.”
Gottlieb said a free market dictates the right of consumers to know about the products they purchase, and that includes knowing whether a business they support may be working in the shadows to erode their constitutional rights.
“We encourage people buy products from companies they can count on to not support efforts aimed at curtailing constitutional rights,” he explained. “By providing this information, we hope gun owning consumers are making reasonable decisions about which businesses to patronize. This might convince some businesses to re-think their core values.”
“We’re not calling for a boycott of these companies,” Gottlieb said. “Businesses and the people who own them can support whatever kind of philosophy they want, and gun owning consumers can likewise not spend any money with those firms. Let the marketplace decide. Over 100 million American gun owners represent a sizeable consumer bloc, and they will decide where they spend their money.”

Most of those on this list I can honestly say I’ve never used, plenty on their I’ve never even heard of.
Some I’ve used on occasion, or have used in the past but don’t currently,
Others I will likely to continue to use, either by choice or not (such as microsoft) – and quite frankly as has been pointed out by others some you’re using indirectly and will never even realize it.

How about voters elect people that support the Constitution and don’t trample on it. Good Luck. The American dumb down and takeaway program is in full force and is driven full force by the current administration. Yup, soon you will be asking yourself, What’s in my wallet? Good Luck and keep your firearms. You’ll need them to protect yourself and your loved ones as the march is now on to defund and/or take control of the police. Stay away from fools!

If Gucci offered a reasonably-priced, practical holster for my EDC, I might go for it. But since I have already fulfilled that need–including a good backup option–nah. F**k Gucci and its anti-2A PC..

Get over it – I’ll shop at any and all and it’s not going to impact my ability to buy normal handguns and bolt action rifles. As the founding fathers intended.
FlatFrog13 says
Nice tryLib. Founding Fathers intended us to have firearms like the government. there is no mention of “normal handguns and Bolt Action Rifles” Bolt Action Rifles didn’t exist and a normal Handgun was a blackpowder musket.
Russ says
For those who do not understand the meaning of ‘RIGHTS’ , we need to make it clear once and for all:
The 2nd Amendment does not apply to semi-auto rifles, nor does it apply to bolt action rifles, pistols, or revolvers. The 2nd Amendment RESTRICTS GOVERNMENT. The technology of the firearm is irrelevant. The restrictions on government remain the same, regardless of the firearm. The Second Amendment was not written to grant permission for citizens to own and bear firearms. It forbids government interference in the right to keep and bear arms, period. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be Infringed.
This also applies to other ‘Rights’. They are not granted, they stipulate inherent rights that the government may not prohibit.
Rob says
Apparently a lot of people don’t understand the phrase “shall not be infringed” or choose to disregard it so they can compare muskets to modern day firearms as if the founding fathers were so ignorant that they never realized gun designs would improve. That being said, your explanation was spot on, thank you.
Brian Van De Walker says
Actually its pretty clear given the context that the 2nd amendment means whatever current military grade personnel weapons are available and in the current modern world that’s everything from hand guns to auto-rifles to sniper rifles to HMGs, possibly even personal incendiary such as grenades and rocket launchers, one could even go so far as to make an argument given the real purpose of the 2nd amendment that things ranging from armored vehicles to nukes are also covered by it.
You see the true purpose of the 2nd amendment is to give citizens any and all means necessary to protect 1st and other constitutional rights from foreign and domestic threats.
By domestic threats, first and foremost we mean those elected thieves we call politicians. Yes that’s right the second amendment is anti corruption legislation because our founding fathers realized that the citizenry of an elect government would actually need current military grade armaments just to deal with government corruption at certain times (something that should be obvious given that our nation was clearly founded on vigilantism and terrorism not petty words).
It also acts as deterrent to outrageous corruption and if the last several years proved anything, regardless of your personal beliefs, we citizens need stronger deterrents to corruption and there is no greater form deterrent than military grade armaments in the hands of law abiding citizens.

Wheres the list?
I won’t wander around looking for the list, if it isn’t prominent in the main message. I’ll move on.

I went through the list and I can honestly say I do not support or have not done business with any of them . That really makes me feel good that I have not done business with any of these anti American companies !

Hate to say it but you have used at least one company on the list if not more. Maybe indirectly and you may not even be aware of it. Unless you use an Apple PC, i-phone, or Android device you use Microsoft products. It is a 99% probability that the server this site is hosted on runs a MS operating system.
Even if you don’t directly use ATT your phones are running on their backbone so your provider is paying them to allow you to use their system. Their is probably GE lightbulbs (or rebranded but made by GE) and other parts made by them in your house, car, if you fly the airplane has GE part as do most trains.
I was quite surprised at some of the companies on this list. And surprised at some not on it to be honest.

We’ve long supported boycotts against Levis, Dick’s Sporting Goods & other anti-American corps; sick n tired of those firms who choose to undermine our nation, freedom of speech & our Bill of Rights.
Stuart Warren says
Why not write a smartphone app to let the users query a company quickly?
Create a database of companies with their published stance on 2A and guns in general…
Add links to the company when they do something like sponsoring anti-gun rally, or ban guns in stores, or stop selling guns or ammo.

I really like this idea
